Scheduling and Time Optimisation

While time recording is important to know where your business is at, time optimisation is going to help you increase your productivity and ensure you are meeting your clients delivery expectations. There is a tonne of good systems for time optimisation if you make widgets, we don't make widgets, the aluminium joinery industry is a specialised job shop industry, every window and door you make is different. With hundreds of product, glass, hardware configurations coupled with individual sizing for each and every item, time optimisation becomes a very complex process.

FSM has a time optimised scheduling system that is designed with the constraints of manufacturing aluminium joinery in mind. It takes into account customer priorities, workers skills, complex calender arrangements and real work attendance and productivity to schedule time efficiently.

It will tell you when you have to site measure and order jobs to meet delivery dates as well as what tasks workers should be doing to ensure you are meeting your customers expectations

Prioritise Jobs

The system will automatically prioritise jobs based on delivery dates, production rules and customer priorities. As a user sometimes we are aware of other factors that affect job timelines and therefore you are given full control over being able to reprioritise jobs in a fashion that makes more sense. As a user you can simply drag and drop jobs into the order you require

Optimised Work Lists

The system will create work lists for each worker that falls within their calendar hours (including any special days or leave requests), their skill levels as well as adjusting for their actual performance. These work lists can be displayed in many different formats from a fixed report to a digital live work list on a tablet. As an administrator you can see and work through the job or workers flow to ensure they are doing what you expect

Comparative Schedules

Run multiple versions of your schedule in a sandbox enviroment to see what affect changes have to your delivery performance. Alter hours, add overtime, change job priorities then rerun the schedule to see the effect. You can compare the average delivery dates across multiple schedules to see whether or not making a certain change is beneficial. This saves your business money by letting you accurately determine the effects of overtime and whether or not you should be working it. Easily see the areas of your factory that are maxed out and causing your bottlenecks. Time optimisation information like this at your fingertips allows you to make powerful business decisions
